HVLA Thrusts

HVLA (High-Velocity, Low-Amplitude) techniques are a form of manual therapy that uses quick, precise, small-amplitude movements to help restore normal joint mobility. When a joint becomes restricted or loses its normal mobility, it can affect movement, increase tension in the surrounding muscles, and may contribute to pain.

These specialised techniques can activate neurophysiological mechanisms that help reduce pain and muscle tension while improving joint mobility and overall movement.

HVLA techniques may be used in the management of neck pain, low back pain, restricted joint mobility, and other musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
